The Netherlands and Belgium have a strongly developed pet market in which consumers are more often inclined to choose high-quality, sustainable and innovative products. 70% of the visitors at the Dibevo Trade Fair are retailers in the sector such as pet specialty shops, garden centres and DIY stores with a pet section. The remaining 30% consists of wholesalers, grooming salons and boarding kennels. 

80% of show floor booked

The Dibevo Trade Fair is going bigger than ever before in 2025 with a show floor boasting an amazing 14,500 m². This expansion represents an increase of 30% over the previous edition of the event. The interest among suppliers in the pet industry has been overwhelming; 80% of the available space has already been reserved since registration opened at the beginning of the year. The organisation expects to welcome around 4,500 pet industry professionals. We recommend that international companies interested in reinforcing their brand in the Netherlands and Belgium don’t wait too long to register.

Full-service concept 

The Dibevo Trade Fair attracts a professional audience that is truly there to do business: around 80% of the visitors are directly involved in purchasing decisions. Exhibitors don’t just target interested parties, but the people who are actually placing orders. Additionally, the Dibevo Trade Fair is the only pet industry trade event in Europe with a full-service concept: free catering for both visitors and exhibitors. Not only does this mean that they’ll spend more time at the fair, but it also ensures that exhibitors and potential customers will be able to spend more (and longer) periods of time together. 

2025 theme: ‘Make me smile’

This year’s edition of the Dibevo Trade Fair will focus on positive experiences in the pet industry such as innovations that provide customers with a better in-store experience, improved customer contact or higher pet owner satisfaction rates.

StartUp Spot: for startups in the pet industry

This year, the Dibevo Trade Fair will be introducing the StartUp Spot, a special pavilion for new businesses where eight young companies will be able to promote their organisations at an attractive price. This pavilion is exclusively for pet industry companies who registered their businesses with the Chamber of Commerce after 1 January 2024. The perfect opportunity to get noticed immediately by potential customers.
